For better system performance and memory usage, you need to adjust the system settings as described below.

Procedure

Windows Server 2008 (R2)
  1. Choose   Start   Control Panel   System   Advanced system settings  .

  2. In the System Properties screen, choose the Advanced tab.

  3. For Performance, choose Settings....

  4. In the Performance Options window, choose the Advanced tab.

  5. For Processor scheduling: Adjust for best performance of, select Background services.

  6. If required, change the Virtual memory (paging file size):

    Choose Change and for Custom size set the Initial size and Maximum size to the relevant value.

  7. Confirm your entries with OK.
