Resource 

Definition

A resource is an entity representing a user or equipment, which can execute work in the warehouse.

Use

A resource can log on to a radio frequency (RF) or non-RF environment.

Once the resource is logged on to the system, it can receive work for execution, and can be tracked and displayed in the warehouse management monitor.

Structure

A resource belongs to a resource type and resource group.

You define a resource in the transaction for resource maintenance. To do so on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Extended Warehouse Management → Master Data → Resource Management → /SCWM/RSRC – Maintain Resource. Alternatively you can define a resource by using the warehouse management monitor ( methodMaint. Resource).
