An interface to request the creation, change, or cancellation of in-house transportation requests.
The Intracompany Transportation Requesting Out outbound service interface groups operations that send inbound delivery data to an external transportation management system (TMS). The external TMS can be used to execute transportation activities for inbound deliveries.
The operations in this interface are not compatible with SAP Transportation Management 7.0 (SAP TM 7.0)
To make the Customizing settings that control the transfer of data to an external TMS, you have to activate the ERP-TMS: Order Integration (LOG_TM_ORD_INT) business function. You can also activate the SOA Reuse Functions (FND_SOA_REUSE_1) business function, which enables you to use Web Services Reliable Messaging (WSRM) for direct point-to-point communication between the SAP ERP system and the external TMS.
In Customizing for Logistics General under Integration with an External Transportation Management System, you have defined which delivery types are to be transferred to an external TMS. Note that you can activate the transfer for a specific delivery type, or you can activate the transfer based on the preceding document in the document chain. For example, you define that a particular purchase order type and all related inbound deliveries are to be transferred to an external TMS.
In addition, you have made the following settings for message output control, which is used to trigger the Request Transportation Request operation from an Inbound Delivery business object:
In Customizing for Logistics Execution under Shipping -> Basic Shipping Functions -> Output Control -> Output Determination -> Maintain Output Determination for Inbound Deliveries , you have made the following settings:
In the Customizing activity Define Output Types for Inbound Delivery , you have assigned the processing program OPS_SE_SHP_SEND_MESSAGE and the form routine PROCESS to output type TRD0.
In the Customizing activity Maintain Output Determination Procedure , you have assigned output type TRD0 and requirement routine 441 to the relevant procedures.
You have created a condition record with output type TRD0 for each delivery type that is to be transferred to an external TMS. To create condition records, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Logistics -> Sales and Distribution -> Master Data -> Output -> Shipping -> Create .
In Customizing for Logistics Execution under Shipping -> Basic Shipping Functions -> Output Control -> Assign Processing Class , you have assigned processing class CL_SHP_XI_MESSAGE_TRD0 to delivery output type V2 TRD0. You can configure output control to issue an output of type TRD0 automatically. In addition, the settings in this Customizing activity are evaluated using condition routine 441 during output determination.
