Business Context and Use
The Notify of Dock Appointment Creation outbound operation sends a notification about the creation of a dock appointment to a third-party system, such as an external yard management system that is connected to Site Logistics Processing, to ensure that all dock appointment information is up to date.
The operation sends the complete dock appointment data to the third-party system, including the door and the assigned transportation unit appointment.
