You need to build the Mobile Application before it can be deployed.

Procedure

Building the Mobile Application Components

  1. In the Application Explorer, select your application.

  2. From the context menu, choose   Development Component   Build  .

    The system will automatically determine all components that are dependent on your application component.

  3. The system will propose that you build these components before building the Mobile Application. You can select or deselect any components in your project.

  4. If you want to perform a build automatically during deployment proceed as follows:

    1. From the context menu of the selected component, choose   Deploy  . Select the Build dirty component before deployment option.

Building the Mobile Service Components, Mobile UI Components and Mobile Java Components

  1. In the Service Explorer /Handhelds UI Explorer /Java Perspective , select your required component.

  2. In the context menu, choose   Development Component   Build  .

    Note Note

    If you are using several UI components that interact through component interfaces, you need to select the highest UI component in your component hierarchy, that is the UI component, on which no other component is dependent.

Result

You have built a Handheld Application. It is ready for deployment to the Mobile Client for Handhelds.
