You can use this business function to replenish your distribution network using stock transport orders.

The business function enhances the capabilities of Internal Logistics Networks by enabling the process for additional item discrepancies and the process for wrong item returns, thus facilitating:

Timely representation of the physical stock situation of the distribution network in the system
The integrated financial clearance process in the case of intercompany stock transport orders
Improved process quality in internal networks through the initiation of a customer—supplier situation with documentation of claims in quality inspection documents

It provides you with the features to handle the entire returns process and maintain items that arrive additionally. This improves the efficiency and transparency of the returns process in your warehouse. It helps you to reduce costs and improve the level of service you provide to your customers.

Process for Additional Item Discrepancies

Enables the timely posting of the receipt of goods that are physically on hand to ensure that the actual stock situation is reflected throughout the whole distribution network
Accurately reflects the availability of parts in the distribution network through the timely posting and non— rejection non-ordered materials that were shipped via stock transport orders (STO)
Enables timely financial clearance in cases where the original stock transport order was an intercompany shipment

Process for Wrong Item Returns

Enables the creation of return stock transport orders (rSTOs) from the EWM warehouse

Raises the quality of internal network processes by enabling quality inspections for returns with internal partners

Accurately credits intercompany partners based on the inspection results of the internal returns

Features

Process for Additional Item Discrepancies

Enables the capturing of physically present goods in the goods receipt area that have no corresponding stock transport order (for example, if you have a stock transport order for material A, but Material B physically arrives in the box).

Process for Wrong Item Returns

Triggers the return of a wrong product via a returns stock transport order (rSTO) within the internal logistics network.

Enables an inspection of the return on the receiving side (for example, in a customer-supplier relationship) within an internal network. You can also carry out the inspection in your RF-environment.

Results of the inspection form the basis for crediting if the rSTO is intercompany
