Strategy: FIFO (First In, First Out) In the case of this strategy, the system first proposes the oldest quant from the storage type from which you want to remove products from stock.
The system calculates the age of a quant (its retention period in the warehouse) from the date when goods receipt was posted. The goods receipt date is set automatically in the quant and in the warehouse request for each goods receipt posting.
You can accept the goods receipt date that the system sets or you can enter a different date. Regardless of whether you adopt the goods receipt date or enter a new one, the system uses this date to calculate the age of the quant. This date influences the sort sequence for each product.
