Conversion from SAP APO with R/3 Planned Order 

Activities

Once you have set the conversion indicator in SAP APO, the system carries out the following steps:

       1.      Send the planned order with conversion indicator to SAP R/3

       2.      Determine the order type and order category into which the order should be converted

       3.      Convert the R/3 planned order into a manufacturing order

       4.      Merge with the detailed scheduling data sent from SAP APO

       5.      Save the manufacturing order

       6.      Return the R/3 order number to SAP APO
