You can use this business function to enhance the calculation of Medisave-cum-Subsidised Outpatient (MSO) contributions.

Features

With this business function, you have the following features:

  • Use the basic payment of the current month to calculate the upper limit of MSO contributions for additional wage (AW). To determine the factor number (base against AW) for some types of AW, for example, special bonus, you can use bases other than the basic payment.

  • Change the default setting of limit check during the calculation of MSO contributions for AW.

  • Use numbers with 4 decimal places during calculation to increase accuracy.

  • Optimize the description of MSO contributions and the calculation of special bonus in the payroll log.

Note Note

You can use the MSO New Calculation (MSONW) constant to specify if the system uses the updated calculation of MSO contributions or the previous one.
