For the smooth execution of Demand Planning (DP) and Supply Network Planning (SNP) processes, we recommend you regularly check the consistency of liveCache objects corresponding to the SNP and DP planning areas.

You use this report to compare the actual status of APO master data with SNP master data and time series. The report detects and corrects inconsistencies of SNP master data and time series caused by, for example, interrupted initialization of planning areas.

Prerequisites

This check is only required if time series objects exist for the planning area. This means that you have initialized at least one planning version. There are SNP planning areas that do not contain time series key figures at all, for example, planning area 9ASNP02. In such cases, the report checks only the consistency of SNP master data.

Features

This report checks the consistency and existence of the following liveCache objects for the specified planning areas:

  • Time bucket profiles

  • Key figure descriptions

  • Time series objects

  • Time series horizons

Optionally, it is also possible to check the consistency and existence of the following objects:

  • liveCache anchors

  • SNP master data objects

Activities

To access this report, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose   Advanced Planning and Optimization   Supply Network Planning   Environment   Current Settings   Time Series Administration   Consistency Check of SNP Time Series Network   (transaction /SAPAPO/TSLCONS).

You can schedule the check as a background job by choosing   Program   Execute in Background  .
