As of EHP4, this business function also supports the outpatient process for the country version Italy.

Prerequisites

Before you can use this business function, you must activate the business function SAP Patient Management (ISH_MAIN).

As of EHP4, you must also activate the business functions SAP Patient Management Treatment Certificates (ISH_TC) and SAP Patient Management: Legal Process Adoption (ISH_MISC1).

You have installed the following components as of the version mentioned:

Features

If you activate this business function ISH_CV_IT, new fields such as ISTAT Code of Birthplace and Place of Residence, ASL of Institution and Place of Residence, and Tax Number Indicator are available and you can define entries for these fields in Customizing. The system makes these fields available in the Clinical Process Builder and on the relevant screens of the inpatient process.

If you activate the business function SAP Patient Management Country Version Italy (ISH_CV_IT), functions including the following are available:

Down Payment: Calculates the default amount for down payments
Creation of Invoice Selections: Treatment certificate selection and collective invoice
Calculation of Patient Contribution (Italy): Calculation and inclusion of a patient contribution in treatment certificate billing
Treatment Certificate Billing (Italy): Billing of treatment certificates for outpatient cases
Admission Data on the Movement Data Subscreen: New fields
Service-Based Appointment Search: Released for the country version Italy only with Enhancement Package 4 (EHP4)
