Individual Conversion in the Order View 

Use

In the order view, you can specifically convert individual SNP or CTM orders into PP/DS orders. The conversion is only a simulation until you have saved.

Activities

Conversion with the Predefined Heuristic

·        If you want to convert one or more SNP or CTM orders into PP/DS orders in the product view and in the receipts view, you select the orders and choose  Convert SNP Orders.

·        If you double-click an SNP order in the product view or in the receipts view, the order processing view is displayed for this order. To convert the order, select  Convert SNP Order.

For the conversion, the system uses the heuristic you entered in Customizing for Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) under Maintain Global Parameters and Defaults. The heuristic SAP_SNP_SNGL is entered here in the standard system. The system uses the settings from the Customizing for this heuristic. If you want to use other settings, define a heuristic with different settings and enter it under Maintain Global Parameters and Defaults.

Conversion with the Variable Heuristic

If you have included a heuristic for the SNP-PP/DS conversion in the heuristic profile for the order view, you can call this heuristic under Variable Heuristic. You can change the heuristic settings interactively when you call the Variable Heuristic or under Settings → Heuristics.
