The license to use the SAP Learning Solution product does not include a license to use the HCM, Enterprise Learning business function, which is exclusively available to customers who have purchased a separate license to use the SAP Enterprise Learning product. If you would like to acquire the use rights to the HCM, Enterprise Learning business function, contact your SAP Account Executive for additional information regarding pricing and availability of the SAP Enterprise Learnin g product.

Use

You can use this business function to implement all functions and components of SAP Learning Solution . In addition, the Integrated Virtual Learning Room component, represented by the ELE ADOBE CONNECT product instance, is available to you in SAP Enterprise Learning .

    After you have received a license from SAP Service Marketplace , you can download the software component Integrated Virtual Learning Room ELE ADOBE CONNECT.

  • You have activated the Enterprise Extension Human Capital Management (EA-HR) in the back-end system of Training Management.

  • If you want to implement the HCM, Enterprise Learning business function, you must have activated the HCM, Learning Solution 01 (HCM_LSO_CI_1) business function.

  • You have activated the HCM, Enterprise Learning business function.

Features

Delivery method:Virtual Learning Room

The Virtual Learning Room delivery methodis available to you as part of SAP Enterprise Learning . It is integrated in the Instructor Portaland in the Learning Portalof SAP:

  • Learners can access virtual rooms in their Learning Portal to take courses they have booked. Learners are instructed by instructors and can be supported by tutors.

  • Instructors can create and manage virtual rooms in their Instructor Portal and assign virtual rooms to courses. Every instructor has at least one virtual room in the standard system. Instructors moderate and conduct courses in virtual rooms. Personal worklists are available to all instructors in the Instructor Portal. The worklist contains all the courses assigned to an instructor, the current participant list, and the virtual rooms.

  • Instructors and tutors can enter the virtual room with enough time before the start of a course.

    Note Note

    The Instructor/Tutor portal role is integrated in the Business Package for Instructor/Tutor in the Enterprise Portal . It is therefore necessary to manually assign the portal role to the Manage Virtual Learning Rooms iView (com.sap.pct.erp.instructor.virtual_learning_room) to ensure the integrated use of virtual rooms in the Instructor Portal.
