Production Planning and Control (PP)

All operations in a collective order or in an order with parallel sequences in the case of which a reduction in the duration of the operation leads to a reduction in the overall execution time of the order or the collective order.

In project manufacturing (SCM-APO-PPS), in a network of orders not the duration of operations but planning-related minimum intervals or offsets are reduced in order to shorten the overall execution time.
