Create a planned independent requirement in PP/DS

Enter the requirements date/time and a negative value for the requirements quantity in the initial screen of the order processing view, in the product view, or in the requirements view.

You can change or delete a planned independent requirement created manually in Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) at any time.

You cannot process planned independent requirements from Demand Planning (DP).

Change, delete, or create a dependent requirement from an in-house production order

Double click on the Requirements node in the Order Processing View and make the desired changes in the list of requirements. For example, change the requirements date/time or the quantity, or delete the dependent requirement and create a new dependent requirement for another location product.

If you change a dependent requirement date/time, the system reschedules the order based on the detailed scheduling strategy defined under Settings.
