Transferring and Converting Orders Individually

Prerequisites

You are in the change mode of the receipt view.

Note the restrictions for converting purchase requisitions.

Procedure

Select the order.

Set the conversion indicator if the order is a planned order or a purchase requisition that should be immediately automatically converted into a production order or a purchase requisition after being transferred to the SAP R/3 system.

Choose Transfer order.

Result

The SAP APO system creates a transfer event for the order.

When the transfer actually takes place (for example, immediately) depends on your transfer settings. For more information, see Transferring orders to the SAP R/3 system.
