Function documentation Dynamic Pegging Considering Shelf Life Data  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

Basically, in dynamic pegging, the system may only link a requirements element with stock or receipt elements whose availability dates are in the pegging interval; that is, the availability date may not lie too far before or after the requirements date. If you plan with shelf life data, the shelf life requirements of a requirements element must be compatible with the maturation time and the shelf life of a receipt or stock element. It is only then that the system may create a dynamic pegging relationship between the elements. The system may not assign stock without shelf life data to a requirement with shelf life requirements.

Prerequisites

You set the Plng w/ shelf life indicator in the product master.

Features

In order that the system may create a dynamic pegging relationship, the elements must fulfill the following shelf life conditions:

Note

If you plan a product with the heuristic for planning standard lots and have defined in the heuristic settings that the heuristic should take the shelf life data into account, these conditions also apply for the offsetting of stocks, receipts and requirements in the net requirements calculation.
