Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (SCM-APO-PPS)

Minimum interval between two activities of different operations of an order, that is greater than the process-related minimum interval. For technical planning reasons, the interval between two activities must not fall below the planning-related minimum interval.

For infinite scheduling with consideration of relationships, the system retains the planning-related minimum interval; by planning with the larger planning-related minimum interval instead of the process-related minimum interval, a "robust" schedule can be created. This allows enough room for changes through later finite detailed scheduling or for deviations during confirmation.
