Use

You can use this report to download account assignment objects from the SAP ERP system in Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). You can also use this report to delete data that was already created in EWM.

Integration

The report calls into SAP ERP with the entered selection criteria using a Remote Function Call (RFC). EWM determines SAP ERP with the given party entitled to dispose. This is assigned to a plant in SAP ERP (SAP ERP plant). SAP ERP determines the account assignment objects for the given account assignment category, for example, the account assignment category 10 Cost Center. It sends the data to EWM, which saves it. The determined account assignment objects are in the controlling area that is assigned to the SAP ERP plant.

Prerequisites

In order for EWM to be able to read the data from SAP ERP, the party entitled to dispose must be a business partner, for whom an identification of the CRM011 (R/3 plant number) identification type is defined. If required, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Extended Warehouse Management ® Master Data ® Maintain Business Partner, and define the business partner.

If you want to use the report, you must have certain authorizations to delete, change and display account assignment objects, namely for authorization object /SCWM/AIMP. For more information, see the SAP Help Portal under help.sap.com ® SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ® Knowledge Center for SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s) ® Functional View ® SAP NetWeaver by Key Capabilities ® Security ® Identity Management ® Identity Management of the Application Server ABAP ® AS ABAP Authorization Conceptor Identity Management of the Application Server Java ® Authorization Concept of the AS Java.

Features

If you do not set the control parameters for parallelization, (see "Selection"), the report only runs once at a time for an account assignment category and a party entitled to dispose. In order to ensure this, EWM uses the /SCWM/E_ACC_DEF lock object with the given party entitled to dispose and account assignment category. If a report is already running with the same data, a corresponding message appears in the log. In this case, you can also start the report for no overlapping intervals of account assignment objects of the same account assignment category and the same party entitled to dispose.

If you are using the test mode, you can start the selection at any time.

Selection

The report offers the following selection criteria or control parameters:

      Party Entitled to Dispose

The party entitled to dispose is a required entry. It is required for determining the following:

Corresponding SAP ERP from which the account assignment objects are to be read

Controlling area, from which the account assignments are to be determined

      Account Assignment Category

The account assignment category is a required entry. This determines which account assignment categories are to be read from SAP ERP, for example cost center, order or WBS element.

Acct Assignment Obj. (account assignment object)

You can enter an interval for the account assignment objects that must either be read from SAP ERP (see "Create") or deleted from EWM (see "Delete").

      Validity Date

EWM uses the validity date when creating the account assignment objects (see "Create"). The validity date restricts the account assignment objects to be selected on the SAP ERP side. You enter a validity date for example, for creation with the account assignment type 10 Cost Center. EWM only determines the cost centers for the given date within the validity interval of the cost center. EWM does not use the validity date to restrict all account assignment categories. However, you can use a customer-specific Business Add-In implementation (BAdI implementation) in SAP ERP to restrict other account assignment categories with this date.

      Delete

If you set the indicator, the account assignment objects in EWM that belong to the transferred selection criteria for the party entitled to dispose, the account assignment category, and the interval of account assignment objects are deleted. If you have also set the Test Run indicator, these records are determined only; they are not deleted.

      Create

If you set the indicator, the account assignment objects that correspond to the transferred search criteria are read from SAP ERP. SAP ERP sends the determined search criteria to EWM, which saves this information. If you have also set the Test Run indicator, these records are determined only; they are not created.

      Test Run

If you set this indicator, only data to be created or deleted is determined. The data in EWM is not changed.

      Parallelization

If you start the report in test mode, you can always work with a parallelization. Otherwise, you have to set this parameter. Only then can you start the report multiple times in parallel.

      Detailed

If you set this indicator, further information about the data that is currently being changed is written into the log.

      Save

If you set this indicator, the log is saved to the database with the /SCWM/ACC object and the /SCWM/ACC_ERP subobject. If you want to display the log again, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Tools ® ABAP Workbench ® Development ® SAP Business Workflow ® Utilities ® Application Log ® Application Log: Display Logs.

Result

When the system has finished selecting and updating the data, EWM displays a message log under Message Log that you can use to analyze the changes that have been made.

Activities

If required, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Extended Warehouse Management ® Interfaces ® Administration of Account Assignment Data.
