Perform Warehouse-Internal Processes with a VAS Order 

Purpose

You can use this process to perform processes within the warehouse, which do not involve goods movement. This enables you to perform certain processes at short notice, such as new packing, or painting a product, more quickly and flexibly.

Prerequisites

A valid packaging specification exists for the product.

Process

       1.      You manually create a VAS order.

       2.      The system generates one or more warehouse tasks. The destination storage bin is the first work center of the VAS order.

       3.      The resource withdraws the product.

       4.      The required changes (such as repainting) are carried out.

       5.      The resource transports the product back to the shelf.
