Stopping a Cluster Database

While there is a correct order for starting and stopping nodes and the cluster database, there is no need to stop the database when the nodes are stopped.

1. If you do need to stop the cluster database,
   1. Stop all projects.
   2. Stop the cluster nodes, including the cluster manager.
   3. Stop the cluster database.
   Once the cluster database is restarted, the cluster manager starts normally.
2. If the cluster database is down,
   1. Manually terminate the projects and the cluster manager node.
   2. Restart the cluster database.
   3. Restart the cluster manager node.
   4. Restart all projects.
