Function documentation BC Set List  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

In the BC Set list, you can tell from the icons if a BC Set is hierarchical (type This graphic is explained in the accompanying text) or not (type This graphic is explained in the accompanying text). The BC Set name, short text, change date, company name, software component and validity range are also displayed.

The company name identifies the creator of a BC Set. BC Sets which were created by others (e.g.: SAP, partner, group headquarters) can be changed.

The validity range of a Business Configuration Set is the range of SAP releases for which it is valid. BC Sets cannot be activated in systems which are outside this range. Otherwise the data in the tables used could become inconsistent.

You can put BC Sets in a personal worklist as Favorites. If you have no Favorites, no BC Sets are listed.

Prerequisites

You have entered the BC Set maintenance tool transaction SCPR3 in the command field or chosen Tools Customizing Business Configuration Sets Maintenance in the SAP menu.

Features

The BC Set list display allows you to:

Sort

You can sort the data in the list in ascending or descending order. Click on a column header and choose Sort ascending or Sort descending.

Find

You can search for a term in the list. Click on the column to be searched and choose Search… Enter the search term and specify the search direction.

Note

Only the displayed list is searched. The BC Set contents and the database are not searched.

Set Filter

The filter function restricts the column selection in the list.

List output

List output shows the list on the screen as it would be printed. Choose List Print to print the displayed list.

Expand or reduce list

To view the list in fullscreen, choose the magnifying glass Large BC Set list. The magnifying glass Small BC Set list shrinks the list again.

Selection

You can collect BC Sets in a list by selection criteria. The following criteria are possible:

     Attributes

     Activities

     Tables

     Texts

Choose New selection and then the selection criterion. Enter your data, e.g. the BC Set name or the last changer, in the following window.

You can only display the BC Sets which you have edited, in the list (user = last changer). Choose New selection and then My BC Sets. All BC Sets displays the complete list again.

Favorites

All users can define their own Favorites. Favorites are edited independently of the displayed list. To display the Favorites, load them with the Selection function.

You can create Favorites in two ways:

     with Maintain Favorites

Choose Maintain Favorites. Copy the desired BC Sets from the value list into the Favorites, in the next window, by marking them and clicking on the left arrow (Add to Favorites). Choose Copy Favorites (Continue).

     with Save list as Favorites

You can declare a selected list as your Favorites. Create the list by selection criteria, e.g. your own BC Sets. Choose Save list as Favorites.

New selection Load Favorites displays your Favorites. Newly created BC Sets are automatically put in the Favorites.

Context Menu

Click on the right-hand mouse key for the context menu with more BC Set processing functions. The context menu refers to the BC Set indicated by the cursor (not one selected by double-click).

See ABAP List Viewer (ALV) Grid Control.
