 Reversing Rent Adjustments

Prerequisites

This function only reverses inactive adjustments.

If you want to reverse active adjustments , you have to delete the corresponding condition item in the object where the reversal is to be made.

Procedure

  1. Starting from the general menu, choose Start of the navigation path Accounting Next navigation step Real estate management Next navigation step Rent adjustment. End of the navigation path

  2. Choose Reverse in the menu of the required adjustment method.

  3. Maintain your selection criteria.

  4. You have the following options in the selection screen:

    You do not want to reverse all rent adjustments of one or several adjustment runs ( User-ID(s) or Valid from date) .

    Select the lease-outs or rental units for which you want to activate the rent adjustment in the Business entity, Rental unit, Lease-out fields

    You want to have adjustments done for lease-outs once the tenant has approved

    Set the indicator in the Selection acc. to category and status group box

    You want to define a proposal reversal date for all adjustments of an object selection

    Enter the required date in the Reversal date field

    This date is copied to the selected adjustments but can still be manually changed

    Otherwise you have to enter manually the reversal date for each lease-out/rental unit adjustment

    You want to reverse all adjustments of an object selection

    Enter the required date in the Reversal date field and flag the Reverse directly? field

  5. Choose Execute .

Result

If the Reverse directly? field is flagged, the system reverses the adjustment for the respective lease-outs/rental units with the Reversal date entered.

If the Reverse directly? field is not marked, you receive a list of adjustments for further editing:

Exclude individual adjustments from being reversed

The required adjustment and then Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Selection on/off End of the navigation path

Reset all selections or reselect all adjustments

Deselect all or Select all

Display details of the adjustment

The required adjustment and then the Detail function

No reversal
