Before you can use all the functionality of
Travel Planning
, a number of presettings and prerequisites must be fulfilled.
The online booking functions in Travel Planning are integrated with external reservation systems that communicate with the service providers. This integration enables SAP users to access the following functions:
Check availability of travel services
Additional information about selected travel services
Price information
Processing of reservations by the respective provider
Synchronization of the data in
SAP Travel Planning
if booking changes have been made in the external system
To be able to use a reservation system (see Travel Planning ), your company must have signed an agreement for use of the system and be registered in the system with a user ID. In addition, a network connection to the reservation system must be open.
