There are four stages involved in the process of activating your Inland Revenue (IR)
PAYE Online for Employers – Internet
service. These stages are:

You must complete each stage as described below in

You are then directed to the
Inland Revenue Online Service
login web page.
New Usersection of the login screen, select
Register.
Organisationsection of the registration screen, choose
PAYE Online for Employersand select
Register.
Register and create passwordscreen, enter:
Your own name
Your organisation name
A contact e-mail address
A password of your own choosing
Continueto enrol for
PAYE Online for Employers – Internet.
You must make all your entries in UPPERCASE.
Following registration and enrolment, your User ID will be displayed on screen. It will also be confirmed by post within seven days, to the contact name and address the Inland Revenue holds for you. You will also receive an Activation PIN through the post within seven days.
To activate the service, login using your User ID and password, enter your Activation PIN and select
Activate
.
If you do not activate the service within this period, your activation pin becomes invalid and you will need to enrol again for this service.
For security reasons, the enrolment process uses traditional post to deliver information that you will need to use
PAYE Online for Employers - Internet
.
You will receive a separate Activation PIN for any other Inland Revenue Online Service that you register and enrol for.
You will need your User ID and password whenever you want to:
Send in forms or returns to the Inland Revenue
Enrol for other services
Activate another Internet service
Add users and assistants within your organisation, allowing them to file forms and returns on your behalf
Authorise agents to send your forms and returns to the Inland Revenue
If you do not wish to receive forms P6, P9, P6B, SL1 and SL2 online, uncheck the necessary boxes in your user profile after you log on to the Inland Revenue mailbox.
All other forms that may be listed, such as tax credits and various notifications, are currently not supported by SAP and therefore you must uncheck them in your user profile.
You have now activated the
PAYE Online for Employers - Internet
service for your organisation.
