 Configuration: Business Package for HR Administrator (mySAP ERP)

Purpose

You use this process to make the necessary settings to integrate the Business Package for HR Administrator (mySAP ERP) into your portal.

Prerequisites

You have obtained an overview of the software components required and the implementation strategy. To do this, see the Master Guides and the Installation Guides on SAP Service Marketplace at service.sap.com/instguides .

To use all the functions of the Business Package for HR Administrator , you must install the following:

  • SAP NetWeaver 2004s with:

    • Enterprise Portal ( with Knowledge Management)

    • Application Server Java (with Java-2-Enterprise-Edition-(J2EE-)Engine )

    • Adobe Document Server (ADS) (with Java Connector (JCo) connection to the J2EE Engine and to the ERP system)

    • System Landscape Directory (SLD) (with JCo connection to the J2EE Engine and to the ERP system)

  • Web Dynpro Software Components:

    • SAP PCUI_GP

    • SAP ASR

    • SAP MSS

  • Business Packages:

  • SAP ERP Central Component (SAP ECC) 6.0 with Human Resources Extension (EA-HR)

Process Flow

  1. You set up the system landscape in the portal (see Setting Up the System Landscape ).

  2. In the portal, you assign the portal roles to users (see Assigning Portal Roles to Users ).

  3. You make the settings as described in Configuring the Adobe Document Services .

  4. You set up the JCo connections (see Setting Up JCo Connections for the BP for HR Administrator ).

  5. You make the settings as described in Setting Up the Universal Worklist ..

  6. You make the settings for the individual iViews (see the documentation for the relevant iView).
