  Book Value/OCI Trend

Use

Accounting regulations such as IAS or US GAAP prescribe that financial assets must be subdivided into different holding categories in the balance sheet. Within these categories, unrealized gains and losses resulting from valuations initially have to be posted to revaluation reserves (Other Comprehensive Income (OCI) component), rather than to the profit/loss account. Any opposing write-ups or write downs or (partial) outflows must be cleared against OCI before they are posted to the profit/loss account.

The report provides an overview of the changes to these OCI components for the security and foreign exchange elements of a position over the selection period.

Integration

This report is a query. The query is based on InfoSet CFM_PERIODS, which, in turn, is based on logical database FTI_TR_PERIODS.
