Purpose

Characteristic results are the properties of the inspection characteristic determined during an inspection. These are recorded and evaluated according to the specifications in the task list. If defects have been found, the system can automatically create defect records to document the nature of the defects. If the need for additional characteristics becomes apparent during the inspection (that is, you want to inspect characteristics that are not included in the inspection plan), these can be defined retrospectively in results recording.
