  Dashboard

Definition

Application of SAP E-Recruiting that provides the user with an up-to-date, customized overview of the topics relevant to the user and at the same time provides the necessary functions for processing.

Use

The user uses the dashboard to obtain an overview of his or her task area without having to gather this information from various user interfaces. The dashboard provides the information in the form of worklists that consist of tables with the current work items. The user uses the functions that are provided for a worklist to trigger the relevant activities for the entries in the worklist.

The user calls the dashboard via a link on his or her start page (Personal Pages).

Structure

The dashboard is a user interface within the SAP E-Recruiting application. The dashboard consists of a navigation tree, which provides the worklists, and an area in which the individual worklists are displayed.

The structure of the dashboard is specified in Customizing. For more information, see Dashboard Configuration .

The following graphic displays the schematic structure of a dashboard:

Navigation tree

The navigation tree contains the worklists that the dashboard provides. The worklists are structured into application areas. These areas group together worklists that share a common theme. In the navigation tree, the system displays for each worklist how many entries are currently contained in the worklist. If you select an entry, the corresponding worklist is displayed in the dashboard.

The user can use the Refresh pushbutton above the navigation tree at any time to update the number of work items displayed in the navigation tree and the work items displayed in the worklists.

Worklist

A worklist consists of a table with the relevant work items. The table columns contain the necessary information for the work items. Entries in columns can contain links that lead to more detailed information.

Pushbuttons are available for a worklist with functions that the user can use to edit the work items.
