You can use this process to modify the dashboard to suit your company requirements. You determine which work lists are contained in the dashboard and assign them to one of the application areas delivered by SAP.
You create dashboard profiles and store the worklists’ properties there. You then assign the profiles to the worklists.
You use Customizing settings to configure the dashboard. For the relevant IMG activities, see Implementation Guide (IMG) for
SAP E-Recruiting
under
Technical Settings
→
Dashboard
.
SAP delivers a series of tables. On the one hand, these tables contain the work areas to which you can assign worklists; on the other hand, the tables contain the possible basic settings from which you create the profiles that contain the configuration settings of the dashboard.
The following graphic illustrates the relationships between basic settings and dashboard profiles.
You define selection profiles
You use the IMG activities
Define Selection Profiles for Worklists
and
Assign Values to
Selection Profiles for Worklists
to create selection profiles. In these profiles, you specify the selection fields and the selection conditions that are to be used to provide the data from the database tables or index tables for worklists.
Note
If you use index tables, you cannot specify any restrictions for the selection fields.
You define output profiles
You use the IMG activities
Define Output Profiles for Worklists
and
Activate Links of Fields in Output Profiles to Objects
to create output profiles. In the profiles, you specify how the output of the extracted data is to be displayed in a worklist. In doing so, you can also specify the columns, the order of the entries, and links from table entries to other objects for the worklist tables.
Note
In worklists, you can display links to the candidates’ resumes that the candidates uploaded to their profiles as attachments. To do so, you must specify the attachment type to which the resumes are assigned. You make this setting in the Implementation Guide for
SAP E-Recruiting
under
Basic Settings → Attachment Types → Identify Attachment Type as Resume
.
You define function profiles
You perform the IMG activity
Define Function Profiles for Worklists
to create the function profiles. In these profiles, you specify which functions are provided for the work items of a worklist.
