Function documentationMileage and Passenger Reimbursement for Business Trips

Legal Requirement (§ 6 BRKG)

The BRKG (Federal Travel Expenses Act, as of: June 2000) lays down specific requirements with regard to mileage and passenger reimbursement for business trips.

The legal requirements include provisions governing the following aspects:

  • Differentiation of mileage reimbursement according to cubic motor capacity of the vehicle used

  • Differentiation of mileage reimbursement for private and approved vehicles

  • Reduction of mileage reimbursement for approved vehicles with more than 350 ccm from 10,000 km per operating year

Features

The BRKG requirements are integrated into the features of the travel expenses settlement and are delivered in the corresponding settings for trip provision variant 'D1' (German Public Sector) in Customizing for the standard system.

If you want to settle travel expenses according to the regulations in the BRKG, you should use or copy trip provision variant D1 to do this.

If, however, you want to create a new trip provision variant for which settlement is to be carried out according to the BRKG, read the Effects on Customizing section in the Mileage and Passenger Reimbursement for Business Trips (4.5A) release information.
