 Reporting Base

Definition

A value of a non-ferrous metal that is used in accounting. By determining a long-term reporting base (many years) you can, for example, smooth fluctuations in sales figures resulting from varying copper prices.

Use

Five condition types are required for each NF metal in order to implement the reporting base. Transfer of detailed data to Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) is ensured by classifying the individual postings.

You define the reporting base for a company code and a base key in Customizing of NF Metal Processing at Maintain NF Keys and Base Values .
