 Displaying Document Flow for Notifications or Orders

Use

You have two options for displaying the document flow:

  • You can display the document flow directly.

  • You can display the document flow from the transaction of an object.

Procedure

Display document flow directly
  1. Depending on the application component in which you are working, select one of the following menu paths, for example:

  2. Enter the desired data and choose Execute .

Display document flow from a notification or an order
  1. Depending on the application component in which you are working, choose one of the following menu paths:

  2. Call up the notification or order in the display or change mode.

  3. In the notification or order, choose Start of the navigation path Extras Next navigation step < Notification documents End of the navigation path / Start of the navigation path Documents for Order> Next navigation step Document flow End of the navigation path .

    The Document Flow screen appears.

    Note Note

    If object links already exist for a notification or an order, the dialog box Display Object Links is displayed first. You can display objects that are linked to the notification or order by selecting the relevant object type and choosing Select .

Result

You can select a document on the Display Document Flow screen and choose Start of the navigation path Environment Next navigation step Display document End of the navigation path to go to the document display. By double-clicking on a document in the list, you can display detailed data for that document.

Note Note

If you have switched on the business function Enterprise Asset Management Part 6 (LOG_EAM_CI_6), you go to the document display by double-clicking on a document in the list. You can use the user parameters ENJ_CALL_ME53N and ENJ_CALL_ME23N to define whether you go to the normal transactions or to the single-screen transactions for purchase requisitions and purchase orders.

In addition, the Business Add-In BAdI : Display Additional Columns in Document Flow (EAM_CC_DOC_FLOW_ADD_COLUMS) is available with a default implementation. With the default implementation, the system displays additional columns with information, depending on the document category.
