 Segmentation of the Talent Pool

Purpose

You can use this process to structure the talent pool using talent groups that group together candidates with similar characteristics. A candidate can belong to several talent groups. You can define the themes represented by your talent groups.

Process Flow

  1. You decide which criteria you want to use to segment the talent pool.

  2. You inform the administrator about which talent groups you require.

  3. The administrator creates the talent groups and assigns you to the talent group support team.

  4. You choose Assignments to Talent Groups on your start page ( Personal Pages ).

  5. The system displays a list of talent groups to whose support team you belong.

  6. You select a talent group and choose Candidate Search .

  7. You search for candidates in the talent pool. You define your search criteria in such a way that you only find candidates that suit the selected talent group.

  8. The system displays a list of candidates who match the search criteria.

  9. You select one or more candidates and assign them to the talent group.

  10. You repeat this procedure for other talent groups.

    Note Note

    You can assign the same candidate to several talent groups.

    You can also delete the assignment of candidates to a talent group. To do so, choose Delete Assignment in the list of assigned candidates.

    You can also delimit the assignment of candidates to a talent group. To do this, specify the delimitation date and choose Delimit assignment in the list of assigned candidates.

Result

You have created talent groups and assigned suitable candidates from the talent pool to them. In doing so, you have grouped together candidates to suit your requirements.

This facilitates management of candidates in the talent pool since you can now create activities for all candidates simultaneously.
