You can use this process to approve status changes to requisitions or job postings that recruiters have forwarded to you for approval. These recruiters do not have the necessary authorizations to make status changes.
You have the authorization to make status changes to requisitions and job postings. You have this authorization if you are assigned the E-Recruiting Recruiter role.
You receive an e-mail with the information that you have received a request to change the status of a requisition or a job posting.
Choose the
Approval
function under
Requisitions
on your personal pages.
The system displays a list with the requests for status changes for which you are responsible.
Select the relevant request and choose
Edit Request
.
Check the request and then approve or reject it. If you do not want to continue processing the request further, then choose the
Put on Hold
function.
You have processed the request to change the status of a requisition or job posting.
If you approved the request, the system sets the requested status using a workflow and then sends the person who submitted the request an automatically generated e-mail (see also:
Workflow for Approving a Requisition
and
Workflow for Approving a Job Posting
). After refreshing the
Status Change Requests l
ist
, the processed request is no longer shown there.
If you rejected the request, the previous status remains unchanged and the system sends the person who submitted the request an automatically generated e-mail using a workflow. After refreshing the
Status Change Requests list
, the processed request is no longer shown there.
If you put the request on hold, the previous status remains unchanged and you can edit the request later. The request remains in your
Status Change Requests list
.
