You can use the

component to incorporate the ad spec editor in a technical system as follows in the CIC:
On a tab page in the
Navigation Area
On a separate dialog box
In a docking control
You want to incorporate an editor in the
CIC
to design ad specs so that you do not have to exit the
CIC
when entering classified ad orders.
You have incorporated the
Business Partner Search, Ad Item Entry
and
Order Overview
Advertising Management
in the
CIC
for the entry of order data.

You have incorporated the editor from an external system or the

Customizing settings : You have specified the URL to be used to access the ad spec editor. If you are using the ad spec editor in a framework with docking control, you have also specified the size of docking control and defined whether the modified size is transferred to the ad spec editor if the docking control size is modified.

If you are using the ad spec editor in an L-shape framework, you have assigned the
Ad Spec Editor
(ISMAM_EDITOR)
component with the component profile created above to the
Navigation Area
.
If you are using the ad spec editor in the
Navigation Area,
you have also selected the
Ad Spec
Editor Active in the CIC
indicator in the component profile for
Ad Item Entry
and the
M/AM Order Overview
.
If you are using the ad spec editor on a dialog box, you have not selected this indicator.
Note
Editors can only be incorporated in the
Navigation Area
if they can be displayed on an HTML page as a Java applet for example.

If you are using the ad spec editor in a framework with docking control, you have assigned the
Ad Spec Editor
(ISMAM_EDITOR)
component to the framework as an invisible component, and assigned the component profile created above to a CIC profile with the
ISMAM_EDITOR_DOCKING
profile type.

function group and the GUI status
PFS8200

The GUI status contains the buttons for changing the size of the ad spec editor.
