 Entry Function: Additional Trip Information

Use

You can enter an explanatory text for each trip. This text is printed at the end of the standard form under Comments for trip.

Prerequisites

You have activated the entry function Additional Trip Information in the Customizing for Travel Management under Start of the navigation path Travel Expenses Next navigation step Dialog and Travel Expenses Control Next navigation step Dialog Control Next navigation step Define Schema and Individual Field Control Next navigation step . End of the navigation path

You have the option of defining additional standard texts in Customizing that you can then use to enter additional information, for example, as a form is being filled in (see Customizing for Travel Management under Start of the navigation path Travel Expenses Next navigation step Dialog and Travel Expenses Control Next navigation step Dialog Control Next navigation step Set Up Reference Texts for Additional Information Next navigation step ). End of the navigation path

Procedure

  1. Choose Travel Expenses .

  2. Choose an entry scenario.

  3. Choose a trip.

  4. Depending on the transaction, you can enter additional trip information via Info (travel calendar, weekly report) or in the data area Comments (travel manager, travel expense manager).

  5. Choose Start of the navigation path Trip Next navigation step Save End of the navigation path .

Result

The system has saved the additional trip information for the trip in the database.
