 Displaying Disregarded Documents

Use

The system displays the documents that the Excise Duty component has not taken into account for the following reasons:

  • A material document has not yet been added to the excise duty document table

  • An excise duty document has been deleted (not physically, but flagged for deletion)

  • An excise duty document has been flagged as incorrect during transfer

  • An excise duty document is flagged as relevant for tax but assigned to a different stock ledger.

You can use the function to analyze

  • Stock differences

  • The customs view (stock ledger 1 and/or 2)

  • The extended view (stock ledger 9)

Activities

  1. Choose the requested selection parameters to call the disregarded documents.

  2. Use the Stock Ledger field to determine which type of stock ledger view you want the system to display:

    • Production division (stock ledger 1)

    • Finished goods division (stock ledger 2)

    • Extended stock ledger (stock ledger 9)

  3. The system groups the disregarded documents by the following categories

    • Disregarded

    • Deleted

    • Incorrect

If the extended view (stock ledger 9) is available, it contains the stock ledgers for the finished goods division and the production division.

Recommendation Recommendation

We recommend selecting the Only ExD materials checkbox so that the system only evaluates excise duty materials when it analyzes disregarded documents.

  1. The system sets up the list in three steps:

    1. a. It determines the material documents that were not transferred as excise duty documents.

    2. b. It determines the excise duty documents that have been flagged for deletion.

    3. c. It determines the excise duty documents that have been flagged as incorrect.

  2. The system then sorts the selected data and displays it in a list.
