You can allow the system to rank candidates assigned to a succession plan according to various criteria. You specify the relevant ranking criteria. The program then ranks the candidates and lists the results for each candidate. You can use the ranking as a decision-support when assessing the suitability of the candidate for a key job or position.
You can use the following rankings:
Ranking for Succession Plan and Candidate
When you create this ranking, you obtain a list in which the candidates are ranked as follows:
Ranking of the candidate based on suitability for the current succession plan
Ranking of the candidate, irrespective of the assignment to the succession plan
Note
The candidate and the assignment can both be ranked by different succession planners. The list always contains the average value of all submitted rankings. The system calculates this according to the weightings stored in Customizing in the corresponding ranking scales (see also the
Prerequisites
section under
Ranking
). For each average value, you can view the data for all single values in list form.
The ranking is based on the answers that candidates provided to questions in a specific questionnaire.
The ranking is based on the extent to which candidate data matches the weighted search criteria for a specific search query. The system uses the
Ranking
function to calculate the ranking results.
