  Activity

Definition

Process step in SAP E-Recruiting. Each activity belongs to an activity type. Activity types belong to various activity categories. Activity types within the same category all have special properties. Activities have a status. They can have the status Planned or Completed .

Use

You use activities within the framework of the Recruitment process and in Talent Relationship Management (TRM). Activities are individual process steps that are assigned to a Candidate , a Candidacy , or an Application .

Activities have a status and a due date. When you create a new activity for an E-Recruiting object, the activity has the status Planned . Once you have performed an activity manually, you must set the status of the activity to Completed . You can record a comment for an activity and supplement the activity with uploaded documents. If the system performs the activity automatically (for example, using a workflow), then the status of the activity is changed automatically.

You can define your own activity types in Customizing. For more information about this, see Implementation Guide (IMG) for SAP E-Recruiting under Applicant Tracking ActivitiesDefine Ac tivity Types .

Structure

Each activity is represented by the following tab pages:

  • Properties

This tab page includes the status information, the due date of the activity, the processor responsible, the date of the last change, and the person who made the last change. Depending on the activity category, the tab page can contain further information. For example, activities in the Simple Correspondence category have an assigned letter template.

  • Notes

  • Attachments

  • E-Mail Attachments

For activities in the Simple Correspondence or Invitation category, you can upload attachments that are sent together with the letter template.
