Personnel Change Requests This function enables managers to use interactive PDF forms in the portal to request changes to HR data for employees in their area of responsibility. After a manager has submitted a change request, an approval process can follow by workflow. Submitted requests are sent by workflow to the HR administrator responsible so that he or she can make the changes requested by the manager in the ERP system.

The general prerequisites for the Business Package for Manager Self-Service (mySAP ERP) apply for this function. The following prerequisites must also be fulfilled:
You use
Adobe Acrobat Reader
Version 7.0 or higher.
You use the universal worklist contained in SAP NetWeaver 2004s or higher.
You have set up the necessary authorizations in the ERP system. Users require the following authorizations:
Relevant structural authorizations from the application components
Personnel Administration

This entry is required so that the portal can display the completed form and offer a print option on the confirmation page.

You can include any approval processes by using the appropriate workflows. You can use the example workflows included in the standard SAP system as templates.
The manager can access the change requests awaiting his or her approval in the inbox of his or her universal worklist in the portal.
After the approval steps have been completed, an administrator receives the request in his or her workflow inbox in the SAP ERP system. The administrator checks and updates the data in the system using predefined follow-up functions.
