Archiving Excise Duty Documents
Use
You use this function to archive excise duty (ED) documents in the
Excise Duty
component. In data archiving, the system reads ED documents that are no longer required in online operation from the database.
Note
The field
Object name
already contains /BEV2/EDMD (Excise Duty: Archiving the Document Table) and cannot be changed.

Prerequisites
You can only archive documents for a period that is already closed (year-end closing).
