The set of data segments that are included in DART defines which data can be extracted with DART. These segments can be part of the SAP-provided set of segments, or they can be segments that you or someone else has added to DART through customer enhancements .
However, by default, none of the segments are actually available to the user for extraction until you enable them in the configuration.
To allow DART users to extract data for a certain document type, you must enable that document type for data extraction. This enables the group of segments comprising the document to be extracted.
To
enable extraction of data of customer-defined segments
, you must also enable the
Extract customer-defined data sources
indicator.
You enable the various options for data extraction through the tabs on the
Change settings for data extraction
screen.
From the main DART menu, choose
Display settings
for data extraction
screen appears in display mode.
Choose
Display<-> Change
to place the screen in change mode.
