  Internet Application Components

Purpose

The Internet application components (IAC) in SAP Media (IS-M) allow you to use transactions from Media Sales and Distribution (IS-M/SD) and Advertising Management (IS-M/AM) on the Internet. In technical terms, an IAC is an Internet service, which can consist of HTML templates, MIME files, language resources and JavaScript files.

Integration

The SAP Internet Transaction Server (SAP ITS) controls communication and data exchange between the Internet and the SAP system. In the SAP IST, the Internet Communication Manager (ICM), which is integrated with the SAP Web Application Server, performs the tasks of the Web server.

To edit the Internet service tree, choose Maintain Services (transaction SICF ) and enter the service name Media as a selection criterion.

You can use the SAP Web Application Builder to create and modify the IACs. If you want to develop and modify the IACs in an SAP system, you should use the SAP Web Application Builder, which is part of the ABAP Workbench.
