Post Goods Issue with HU via Production Order

Prerequisites

You should use this procedure if you:

Want to post via outbound delivery with reference to the production order when you are staging material.

If material staging occurs via outbound delivery, you can either post the goods issue with reference to the delivery or to the production order (see prerequisites in Material Staging of Components with WM ).

Are using Material Staging via Transfer Requirement .
Are using Material Staging of Components without WM

Procedure

You can:

Post the goods issues for the complete quantity
Post partial goods issues

Posting Goods Issues for the Complete Quantity

Choose Logistics → Production → Production Control → Goods Movements → Material Staging → Goods Issue with HU , or Logistics → Central Functions → Handling Unit Management → Goods Movement for Handling Units → Goods Issue for Work Order , or Logistics → Material Management → Inventory Management → Goods Movement → Goods Movement for Handling Units → Goods Issue for Work Order .
Enter the order number and choose Propose HU .

To post complete goods issues, choose .

Posting Partial Goods Issues

Choose Logistics → Production → Production Control → Goods Movements → Material Staging → Goods Issue with HU , or Logistics → Central Functions → Handling Unit Management → Goods Movement for Handling Units → Goods Issue for Work Order , or Logistics → Material Management → Inventory Management → Goods Movement → Goods Movement for Handling Units → Goods Issue for Work Order .
Enter the order number and choose Propose HU .

Select a HU and choose .
Change the quantity and choose .
To change another item, continue as in step 3.
To post the goods issues, choose .

Note Note

You can decide per plant and order type whether partial goods issues are allowed. You do this in Customizing under Logistics General → Handling Unit Management → Basics → Production → Production Supply → Set partial GI Indicator.
