Activate Business Configuration Sets 

Use

BC Set activation writes the values in the BC Set into the tables of the activation system. The new or changed data records are written into a change request, which can transport the data into the production system.

Before activating BC Sets, run the following control functions in the production preparation system to avoid errors in your Customizing tables.

Prerequisites

BC Sets can only be activated if there is no production client in the system.

Activating a BC Sets copies all data from the BC Set into the original tables. The existing entries in the original tables are overwritten.

BC Sets should only be activated in the system in which you make the Customizing settings. Test the settings before transporting them into the production system. See Compare BC Set with Customizing tables.
