Your customers no longer need to contact your employees to obtain information about the positioning situation.

Employees who were previously responsible for providing positioning information can now perform other duties, since your customers can obtain the information required directly.
Your sales employees know which fixed spaces are still available and are therefore in a position to make more specific offers. Customers are not offered fixed spaces that have already been booked.

The standard SAP transaction and the IAC are distinguished as follows:
Before using the IAC, you must make Customizing settings to control the combinations of booking units and fixed spaces that can be displayed.
The system displays the result of the check in a list in the IAC and not in an interactive tree structure.
The system does not display orders that book fixed spaces in the IAC. The system only displays whether spaces are still available.
You can enrich the data that is displayed for the Internet Application Component. You can adjust templates if fields already exist in the standard transaction.
Every change made to the SAP development objects used for this Internet Application Component constitutes a modification.
You should not therefore make any changes to development objects in the standard system under any circumstances. Copy the templates into the customer name space instead.
Data is displayed using the
Internet Transaction Server.
