A registered candidate can use this process to search for a suitable vacancy and then submit an application for the vacancy. This process is relevant for both internal and external candidates.
Note
The process description is based on interfaces that use BSP technology. If you use Web Dynpro ABAP as the interface technology for your candidate services, the names of the user interface elements can differ slightly from those described below in the process flow.
You log on to the E-Recruiting system.
The system displays the
Candidate
start page.
You choose the
Search for Jobs
function.
You determine your search criteria and then search for suitable vacancies.
The system displays a list of vacancies matching the search criteria. You can transfer vacancies of particular interest into your Favorites list.
Note
If you saved vacancies in your Favorites during a previous search, then you can also submit an application for one of these vacancies instead. To do so, you choose the
Favorites
function on the start page. You select an entry and then continue as described under point 6.
You choose the
Apply
function.
The system opens the
application wizard
.
You enter the required data or check and supplement the previously stored data.
You create a cover letter in which you explain why you are applying for the vacancy.
You specify the application source (where you found out about the vacancy concerned) and then send your application.
The system sends a confirmation of receipt to your e-mail address using a workflow (see Workflow After Status Changes to E-Recruiting Objects ).
You have entered and sent your application for a job posting. The recruiter responsible will check your application and get in touch with you.
