 Graphic Size

If you select the expansion mode GPC with the expansion parameter G (graphics), you can choose from a number of settings to determine the size of the graphic. The chosen setting is added to the symbol in square brackets:

Syntax Example

Meaning

Automatic

<01G1013008VA(G)[SZ:A]>

The graphic adapts itself automatically to the text box or the table cell in which the graphic symbol is positioned. This applies only if no other text or graphics are positioned in the text box or table cell apart from this one graphic.

You can set the In Text Box indicator. Then when the symbol is inserted, a text box is inserted in which the symbol is positioned. Then you can drag the text box in the template to its required size.

Original

<01G1013008VA(G)[SZ:O]>

The graphic is inserted in the report with its original dimensions.

User-Defined

<01G1013008VA(G)[SZ:x,y]>

You can specify the height and width of the graphic explicitly. If you do not enter a value in the Height field, the graphic is made proportionately larger or smaller. In this way, a repeating group can also be used for the discrete expansion of a multiple value assignment for graphics.
