DTUC Pool and DTUC Shop Paper

Use

This function enables you to create an overview of all the items that are relevant for a delivery-related trading unit change (DTUC) for one or more outbound deliveries and to print the details of a DTUC-relevant item, such as ship-to party, sold-to party, or deviating DTUC-relevant characteristics.

The information in the DTUC Pooland the DTUC Shop Paperis required in different departments in the company, such as Sales, Shipping, or Transportation Planning. In particular, this function provides Shipping employees who do not have direct access to the system with a shop paper for processing DTUC-relevant outbound deliveries.

Integration

You can use this function while making a DTUC.

Prerequisites

You have made the settings described under “Prerequisites” in Delivery-Related Trading Unit Change and have generated at least one DTUC-relevant outbound delivery in the system.

Features

On the entry screen, you specify which data you want to use to select the DTUC-relevant delivery items. You can select the items using basic data, such as shipping point, material, batch, characteristic values, and customer/shipping data. You must make an entry in the Shipping Point field on the Basic Data tab page.

An overview then appears featuring the selected outbound deliveries and their DTUC-relevant delivery items. You can print the data for each selected row of a delivery item on a separate page by choosing Print DTUC Shop Paper .

On the details screen for each delivery item, you can view all the characteristics that belong to the DTUC class, as well as the values of the batch (ACTUAL) and the requirement (TARGET). The system identifies deviating characteristic values with a red traffic light and matching characteristic values with a green traffic light.
